Can I adjust the cord length?
Yes, the cord can typically be shortened or lengthened to suit your ceiling height. The maximum drop is 180cm, so if you have a very high ceiling you can extend it fully, or if you prefer it closer to the surface you can shorten it.

How bright is it?
That depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 20W incandescent you'd get general illumination, but an LED equivalent would be brighter while using less power. For task lighting over a kitchen island, you might want bulbs at the brighter end of the scale.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?
No, this fitting is IP20 so it's not designed for wet areas. For a bathroom pendant, you'd need something rated IP44 or higher.
