How It Works

Eight E14 candle lamp holders sit behind the crystal strands, each capable of producing 20W maximum light. The fitting is wired to Class I electrical standards, requiring an earth connection as part of installation. It's dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The IP20 rating means it's suitable for dry indoor spaces only.

Where It Works Best

Because it sits flush to the ceiling, Fernbank works well in rooms with lower ceilings such as hallways, dining rooms or living rooms where a hanging chandelier would not fit comfortably. It makes a strong centrepiece without taking up any drop height from the ceiling.

Design Details

The appeal of a flush chandelier comes from creating maximum visual impact without hanging space. The crystal strands are positioned to catch light from each of the eight lamps, creating sparkle and reflection throughout the fitting. Is this suitable for a bathroom?
No, the IP20 rating means it's only safe for dry indoor areas. Bathroom lighting would require an IP44 rated fitting or higher.

How heavy is this fitting?
At 14kg, this is a substantial fitting and requires secure ceiling mounting. Make sure your ceiling fixings are suitable for this weight before installation.

What's the maximum light output?
With eight bulbs at 20W maximum each, you could produce up to 160W of light if using traditional incandescent bulbs. Using LED candle bulbs would give good light output with far lower power consumption.
