Three Lights in a Row, Polished Brass and Clear Glass
Epping takes a linear approach to pendant lighting, arranging three clear prismatic glass shades in a row beneath an antique brass frame. The faceted glass panels scatter light into small glinting fragments, breaking a uniform glow into something with more visual texture and movement. It reads as contemporary in proportion but slightly traditional in material choice, fitting comfortably into both modern and more classic spaces.
Choosing Your Finish
The antique brass frame provides warmth and a slightly aged quality that suits it well to brass metalwork already in the room. The clear prismatic glass is versatile enough to work with most colour schemes, letting the brass and light itself be the focal point. If your preference runs elsewhere, compatible finishes are available across the Epping range.
How It Works
Three E27 lamp holders sit behind the prismatic shades, giving an even spread of light along the length of the bar rather than concentrated at a single point. It is wired to Class I standards, meaning it requires an earth connection. The fitting can be dimmed if you install dimmable bulbs and use a compatible dimmer. With an IP20 rating, it is designed for dry indoor spaces.
Where It Works Best
The linear arrangement makes this fitting ideal above a kitchen island, a dining table or a long console, where you need even coverage along a surface rather than a single central point. It also suits open plan kitchen diners, where one fitting may need to cover a generous run of worktop or seating.
Design Details
The marriage of metal and glass here creates visual interest without unnecessary ornament. Prismatic glass, cut with fine facets on the surface, catches and breaks light more dynamically than flat or smooth glass would. The solid antique brass frame anchors the piece, giving it substance while the open glass arrangement keeps it feeling light.
