Fabula Chatsworth Line Mesh Outdoor LED Wall Light IP65

Fine Slots That Draw Stripes of Light

This outdoor LED wall light has a band of narrow, upright slots cut across the top and another across the bottom, with a plain section in between. Light shines through the slots and leaves a pattern of thin vertical lines on the wall, a bit like sunshine through blinds. It is a clean, graphic look that is rated IP65, so it is ready for the British weather.

Choosing Your Size and Finish

Anthracite is a dark charcoal with a fine texture that suits slate, brick and grey cladding. Cacao is a warm chocolate brown that works on timber, sandstone and cream render. Where the light shines through, the slots show a gold toned inner that picks up a warm glint. There are two sizes, a compact 12.5 x 26cm for doors and narrow walls and a larger 16 x 30.5cm for more open spaces. Other Chatsworth designs use different cut out patterns if you would like to mix them.

Sizes, Finishes and Specifications

How It Works

There are two LEDs inside the fitting, giving around 900 lumens of 3000K warm white light with a CRI above 80. It shines out through the slotted bands at the top and the bottom. The LEDs are integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. It is not dimmable. This is a Class II fitting. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

The IP65 rating makes it suitable for outdoor walls. The fine slots work well on a wall with a bit of texture, such as brick, stone or rough render, where the lines of light break up across the surface. Use it beside a front door, along a garden wall, at the edge of a patio or on the side of a garage. A row of them spaced evenly along a long wall makes a rhythmic, modern feature.
