Two Scooped Ends on a Long, Slim Body

This outdoor LED wall light is a tall, slim strip of metal with the top and bottom ends opened out into two matching curved scoops. Each scoop has a pale inner face that catches the light and spreads it along the wall. It comes in three heights, from 30.5cm up to 67cm, so the largest one is a bold piece that is worth measuring against your wall before you order. All three are 12.5cm wide and rated IP65.

Choosing Your Size and Finish

The 30.5cm height suits a narrow gap beside a front door or between two windows. The 40.3cm one is a good middle ground for most porches and entrances. The 67cm version is a statement piece for tall walls and generous entrances. Each comes in Anthracite, a deep charcoal, or Cacao, a warm chocolate brown. The plain band between the two scoops matches the outside colour, and the scoops themselves are pale inside, which gives a clear contrast. Other Chatsworth designs in the range have pierced or slatted shades if you prefer a pattern.

How It Works

Two LEDs are built into the fitting and give around 900 lumens of 3000K warm white light, with a CRI above 80. The light shines from the top scoop and the bottom scoop, which gives a long, soft wash up and down the wall. The LEDs are integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. It is not dimmable. This is a Class II fitting. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

The IP65 rating makes it suitable for outdoor walls. The slim shape suits places where a wide fitting would look heavy, such as the narrow wall beside a door, the edge of a bay or the gap between two windows. The taller versions give height to a wall that looks bare, and work well on a larger home, a double height entrance or a long garden wall. A matching pair either side of an entrance looks neat and formal.

Which height of Even Open Curve should I choose?
It comes in 30.5cm, 40.3cm and 67cm heights, all 12.5cm wide. The 30.5cm is the most compact, while the 67cm is a tall feature light that suits larger walls.

Is the 67cm version very big?
It is tall and slim, at 67cm high and 12.5cm wide. We suggest marking its height on the wall with masking tape before you order, so you can see how it sits against doors and windows.

Does the light shine up and down?
Yes. The light comes from the scoop at the top and the scoop at the bottom, giving a warm white glow above and below the fitting.

What is the difference between this and the Offset Open Curve?
The two scoops on the Even Open Curve match in size, with the plain band in the middle. The Offset Open Curve has a longer upper scoop and a lower band.

Can I fit it myself?
It is a hardwired outdoor wall light. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.
