A Compact Cedar in Warm Cognac Glass

The smallest fitting in the Cedar range, this four light pendant still carries the same angular, pyramid shaped glass as its larger relatives, just scaled down to suit smaller rooms. Here the glass is finished in a warm cognac tone, which gives off a cosier, amber tinted glow compared to the smoked or clear versions.

Choosing Your Finish

Paired with a brass frame, the cognac glass leans into a warmer, more traditional palette, well suited to rooms where you want a bit of golden light rather than a cooler tone. The Cedar shape is produced in other finishes too, so if cognac isn't quite right for your space, it's worth checking what else is available in the range.

How It Works

This pendant uses four E14 candle bulbs, each rated up to 20W maximum, and these aren't included so you'll need to buy them separately. It's dimmable provided dimmable bulbs are fitted. Electrically it's built to Class I standard, so an earth connection is needed during installation. The IP20 rating means this fitting is for dry indoor rooms only.

Where It Works Best

Thanks to its smaller scale, this pendant works well above a dining table, in a bedroom, or in a hallway where a larger Cedar fitting would be overwhelming. It's suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and stairwells, but as it's rated IP20 it should stay clear of bathrooms and other damp spaces.

Design Details

This is the smallest version of the Cedar design, keeping the same tiered, pyramid cut glass arrangement as the larger pendants in the range but in a size that suits more modest ceiling heights. The iron frame gives it enough structure to hold the four glass pieces securely, while the cognac tone adds warmth that the smoked and clear versions don't have.
