This table lamp builds its glow from stacked, angular panels of cognac toned glass set inside a brass frame, so the whole fitting reads more like a sculpture than a standard lamp. Switched off it still catches the eye on a sideboard, and switched on the tiers pass light through in warm, layered bands rather than one flat glow.

Choosing Your Finish

Here the brass frame is teamed with cognac toned glass, giving a rich, amber cast that suits warmer colour schemes and traditional metalwork. How It Works

Three E14 candle bulbs sit behind the glass tiers, each rated at 20W maximum and not supplied with the lamp. It's operated via an inline switch and will dim if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the lamp with a compatible dimmer. Built to Class II electrical standards, it's double insulated and doesn't need an earth connection. The IP20 rating means it has no real protection against moisture, so it's designed for dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere splashes are likely.

Where It Works Best

This one suits a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway, anywhere you'd rather have a warm pool of light than something overhead and bright. Given its IP20 rating it should stay in dry indoor areas only, away from bathrooms or anywhere with regular moisture.

The layered glasswork gives it a level of texture and depth that a plain drum or fabric shade doesn't offer, while the brass frame keeps the overall shape simple enough to sit comfortably against most existing furniture.
