This is one of the larger fittings in the Cedar collection, with twenty three tiers of smoke coloured sculpted glass built around a warm brass frame. Each pyramid shaped pane sits at its own height, so the whole thing has real depth and drama once it's hanging in place.

Choosing Your Finish

Here the frame comes in a warm brass tone, which brings a bit of traditional richness to the smoked glass and gives the piece an almost jewel like quality when the light catches it. Brass tends to suit both period and contemporary interiors equally well. The Cedar design is also made in other finishes, so it's worth checking the range if you'd prefer something other than brass.

How It Works

This pendant is fitted with twenty three E14 candle lamp holders, each taking a bulb rated up to 20W maximum, sold separately rather than supplied with the fitting. It's dimmable as long as dimmable bulbs are used. Electrically it's built to Class I standard, so it needs an earth connection when installed. The IP20 rating means it's designed purely for dry, indoor rooms rather than anywhere with moisture.

Where It Works Best

Because of its scale, this pendant needs a room with genuine height, such as a large dining room, an open hallway or a stairwell where it can be seen from below. Its IP20 rating means it should be kept to dry indoor spaces, so it isn't intended for bathrooms.

Design Details

As part of the Cedar range, this fitting shares the same pyramid cut glass and staggered tiered arrangement as its smaller relatives, just built out to a much larger scale here. The brass frame and iron construction give it enough structural weight to support the twenty three points of glass without looking overloaded, and the layered arrangement keeps the eye moving across the whole piece rather than settling on one spot.
