Each of the 23 clear glass shades is hand sculpted to facet light in multiple directions, so from below it appears to sparkle and dance rather than sit as a static object. Twenty three individual E14 lamp holders are distributed across the frame, each pointing upward or at an angle through a sculpted shade. It's wired to Class I electrical standards, requiring an earth connection. The IP20 rating means it's for dry indoor areas only, well away from moisture.

How many bulbs do I actually need to use?
It has 23 lamp holders, so you can use all 23 bulbs for full illumination. However, you can choose to use fewer bulbs if you prefer, and it will simply create pools of light rather than full coverage. Just make sure any bulbs you do use are identical so the light output is balanced.

Is installation complicated?
Because of the size and weight, this fitting should be installed by a qualified electrician. They'll need to ensure it's securely anchored to the ceiling structure and properly wired. It's not a DIY job.

Will this work in a room with a lower ceiling?
Not really. The pendant itself is quite tall (168cm), and it needs drop space to hang properly. If your ceiling is below 300cm, you'd be better off looking at one of the smaller Cedar versions or a different fitting altogether.
