Fabula Bray Up & Down Outdoor LED Wall Light - Silver & Anthracite IP65

Two Curved Blades That Wash the Wall With Light

This outdoor LED wall light is made from two curved metal shells that pinch in at the middle and flare out at the top and bottom, a bit like a pair of cupped hands. The outside is a dark, textured anthracite, and the wall bracket behind it is a pale silver grey. Two integrated LEDs send light up and down from the centre, so the wall above and below the fitting picks up the glow. It is rated IP65, so it is made to stay outside all year round.

Choosing Your Size and Finish

This version is Silver and Anthracite. The shells are a deep charcoal with a fine, slightly grainy texture, and the silver grey bracket keeps the whole fitting cool and understated against grey render, slate or dark cladding. In the wall photo the inside of each shell looks a lighter silver, while the white background photo shows a warmer, golden cast inside, so the inner tone can shift with the light around it. There are three heights, 35cm, 54cm and 76cm, all with the same slim profile. The Bray design is also made in Satin Gold and Black if you would like a warmer look.

Sizes and Specifications

How It Works

Two LEDs are built into the fitting, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. The supplier lists 750 lumens (plus or minus 5%) of warm white light at 3000K, with a CRI above 80 and a beam angle of 180 degrees. It is not dimmable. This is a Class II fitting. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

With its IP65 rating this is an outdoor LED wall light for the front of the house, either side of a door, on a garage wall or along a side passage. The slim upright shape suits narrow stretches of wall that a wide lantern would swamp. The 35cm size is a neat choice beside a front door, the 54cm suits a taller entrance, and the 76cm gives you a bold vertical line where there is a full run of blank wall to dress.
