Boleyn is a neat little cone shaped pendant, its smoke plated glass banded in matt black where it meets the lamp holder. There's nothing fussy about the shape, but the smoked tone gives it a bit more depth than a plain clear or opal shade would manage, so it still feels like a considered choice rather than an afterthought.
Choosing Your Finish
The smoke plated glass here has a soft grey tint that takes the edge off the bulb without hiding it completely, paired with a matt black rim for contrast. The same cone shape can be found in other finish options within the wider collection, so there's flexibility if smoke plated glass isn't quite what you're after.
How It Works
It takes a single E27 bulb, 20W maximum, which isn't supplied. It's dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs alongside a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting is wired to Class I standard, so it needs an earth connection when installed, and its IP20 rating means it's designed purely for dry indoor rooms.
Where It Works Best
Its compact size makes it easy to place in a kitchen or dining room, whether that's grouped in twos or threes above an island or hung on its own over a smaller table. Because of the IP20 rating, it isn't suitable for bathrooms, so keep it to dry living spaces.
