Barrington is a wall mounted fixture with a spiral shaped frame in white, its polished chrome inner plating catching and bouncing light around as the frame wraps upward. An integrated 8W LED sits behind the spiral, running at 3000K for a gentle warm white glow, and because the light source is built in, there is no need to ever change a bulb.

The white outer finish keeps the fitting discreet on most wall colours, while the polished chrome inner casing creates a subtle sparkle and gives the piece a more refined appearance. How It Works

The fitting uses an integrated 8W LED that is always included and ready to use, producing 640 lumens of light at 3000K with a CRI above 80 for good colour rendering. It cannot be dimmed, so the switch controls it fully on or off. It is wired to Class I electrical standards, requiring an earth connection. The IP20 rating means it is suitable for dry indoor areas only, away from any source of moisture.

Where It Works Best

This is the larger of two available Barrington sizes, so it throws a good spread of light across a hallway, living room or bedroom wall. The height of 50cm gives it real presence without being overbearing, and it suits rooms where a wall fitting needs to register as a design feature as well as provide useful light.

Design Details

The spiral is the visual trick here, creating a three dimensional element on what would otherwise be a simple rectangular wall plate. The interplay between the white powder coated steel and the polished chrome is restrained but effective, and the overall effect is one of craftsmanship and care rather than fussiness.

Is this the only size available?
No, there is a smaller Barrington available if you want a more compact version. Both come in the same white and polished chrome finish.

Will the LED eventually need replacing?
The LED is rated to last many years, and the whole fitting is backed by a 3 year warranty. If the LED does fail during that period, the entire fitting is covered.

Can I use it in a kitchen or bathroom?
The kitchen is fine. For bathrooms, the IP20 rating is too low, so it would not be suitable even in dry zones.
