How It Works

The 12W integrated LED is fixed inside the fitting and produces a warm 3000K light at 840 lumens, giving gentle but sufficient illumination across a wall or above a surface. The 120 degree beam angle means light spreads across a reasonable width. Because the LED is built in, there's no bulb to replace and no dimming option. It's Class I wired with an earth connection required.

Where It Works Best

Avril works well used alone as an accent light above a console table, mirror or fireplace, or fitted in pairs either side of a bed or bathroom mirror. Questions People Ask

Can I use two of these either side of a mirror?
Yes, that's a common installation. Pair mounting means you get balanced light across a vanity or above a console, and the warm 3000K colour works well for general lighting in bathrooms and bedrooms.

Why isn't this dimmable?
The fixed LED and Class I wiring aren't set up to accommodate dimmer switches. If you need adjustable light, a separate lamp with a dimmable bulb may suit better.

How bright is 840 lumens?
That's moderate ambient light, useful for background illumination or accent lighting. For main overhead lighting in a room, you'd typically want something brighter, but for soft wall lighting this is a good output.
