Five GU10 spotlights run along a black bar on this Amesbury pendant, each one finished with a touch of painted gold and housed in a slim cylindrical shade that sends light straight down. How It Works

Each of the five lamp holders takes a GU10 bulb rated up to 15W maximum, sold separately. The fitting can be dimmed as long as dimmable bulbs are fitted. Electrically it's built to Class I standard, so it needs an earth connection when installed. With an IP20 rating, it's intended for dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere with steam or splashing water.

Hung over a kitchen island, breakfast bar or dining table, the five downlights give an even spread of focused light across the surface below. Given its IP20 rating, it's suited to dry rooms such as kitchens and dining rooms, rather than bathrooms or similarly damp spaces.

Design Details

Part of the Amesbury range, this pendant is built from an iron frame with glass shading around each lamp holder, giving the light a bit of direction rather than spreading it in every direction. The painted gold detailing against the black bar gives the piece a bit more presence than a plain black spotlight bar would have on its own.
