How It Works

It takes a single E14 golf ball bulb, 20W maximum, which isn't supplied, so you'll need to pick one up separately. Unlike some of its siblings, this lamp is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and use a compatible dimmer. It's wired to Class II electrical standards, so it's double insulated and doesn't require an earth connection. Its IP20 rating means it's intended for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it well away from bathrooms.

Where It Works Best

This smaller lamp suits a bedside table nicely, giving a soft light for reading or winding down, though it also holds its own on a sideboard or console table in a living room, dining room or hallway. As it's rated IP20, it isn't intended for bathrooms or other damp spaces.

Like others in the Amberley range, this lamp combines a resin and iron base with a Tiffany style glass shade built from individually fanned panels. The small K9 crystal accents along the rim add a bit of sparkle to what is otherwise a fairly compact, understated shape, making it a nice detail piece rather than a statement lamp.
