A Tiffany Classic with a Warm Red Glow

Amberley reworks the traditional Tiffany pendant with a 30cm shade built from fanned, feather shaped glass pieces, cream through the body and deepening to a rich red at the pointed tips. Small clear crystals are set around the rim, adding a little sparkle to what is already a fairly decorative shape once the light is switched on.

Choosing Your Finish

This version hangs from a matt black ceiling fitting, which keeps the focus on the glasswork itself rather than competing with it. The same shade design is also made with other metal finishes across the range, so if matt black isn't quite what your room calls for, there are alternatives worth a look.

How It Works

It takes a single E27 lamp, up to 60W, which is not included and will need to be bought separately. The pendant is dimmable provided you use dimmable bulbs together with a compatible dimmer, and it is wired to Class I standards, so it needs an earth connection during installation. With an IP20 rating, it's intended for dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere damp.

Where It Works Best

Given its IP20 rating, keep this one to dry living spaces such as a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. With a maximum drop of 162cm, there's plenty of scope to hang it low over a dining table or set it as a striking centrepiece partway along a hallway, wherever the glasswork can be properly seen.

Part of the Amberley range, this pendant combines genuine Tiffany style glasswork with a resin and iron frame, a construction method that gives the fanned glass pieces their shape and lets light pass through unevenly for a warmer, more textured glow than a plain shade. The crystal trim around the rim adds a finishing touch without overcomplicating the overall design.
