A single E27 lamp holder inside the shade sits at maximum 60W. It's wired to Class II electrical standards, meaning it doesn't need an earth connection. An inline switch on the lamp cord controls the light, and since it's a table lamp it runs from a standard plug socket. The IP20 rating means it's for dry indoor use only.
