Choosing Your Finish

This pendant comes with three red and cream Tiffany glass shades, each one matching the others to create a cohesive three light fixture. The upward facing design means the colour and pattern of the glass is less visible during the day, but becomes the main feature of the fitting once the lights are switched on.

How It Works

Three E27 GLS lamp holders sit within the shades, each capable of taking a bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are not included with the pendant. The uplighter design means these three bulbs direct their light upwards towards the ceiling, which then diffuses back down into the room. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer will let you adjust the intensity. The fitting is wired to Class I electrical standards, so it requires an earth connection as part of installation. An adaptor is needed to fit this pendant, and your electrician will advise on the correct type during fitting.

This works as a main ceiling light in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways. The uplighter principle makes it particularly useful in rooms with lower ceilings, where you want light to feel like it comes from all directions rather than from a single bright point below the rose.

Why is an adaptor required?
The pendant is designed to work with a range of ceiling types and existing electrical installations. Your electrician will fit the right adaptor block to connect the flex safely to the ceiling rose.

What happens to the light if I use the uplighter in a room with a low ceiling?
The light bounces off the ceiling and comes back down into the room. In a room with a ceiling lower than about 2.3 metres, you might find the fitting sits quite close to the ceiling and the uplighter effect becomes less pronounced, but it will still work as an effective main light.

Can I mix different coloured bulbs in the three shades?
Technically yes, but it would create an odd, mismatched colour temperature in the room. We'd recommend using three matching bulbs of the same specification for a balanced look.
