It's dimmable with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. Wired to Class I standards, it needs an earth connection as part of installation. A self levelling mechanism keeps the shade hanging straight even if your ceiling isn't perfectly flat, so the pattern in the glass reads properly once fitted.
