How It Works

Three E27 bulb holders sit inside the shade structure, their light passing through the glass to colour the whole room. The semi flush design means the shade hangs just below the ceiling rather than sitting tight against it, allowing some light to spill upward as well as down. Class I wiring requires an earth connection. The IP20 rating protects against dust, keeping it for indoor dry spaces only.

Questions People Ask

What's semi flush?
It means the fitting is ceiling mounted but the shade hangs down a bit rather than sitting flat against the ceiling. You get some light spill upward as well as down, and it's less claustrophobic than a full flush fitting.

Why does each shade look slightly different?
Tiffany glass is hand cut and assembled, so there's natural variation in how the colours align and the glass refracts light. That's part of its charm and means no two are exactly identical.

Can I use fewer bulbs than three?
Technically the fitting is designed for three, but if you want less light, it's better to use a lower wattage bulb rather than leave a socket empty, which would look odd and unbalance the light distribution.
