How It Works

Two E27 bulbs are required, 60W maximum each, and these need to be bought separately as they aren't supplied. A foot switch makes it easy to turn on and off without reaching for the lamp itself. It's dimmable with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, and it's wired to Class II standard, so it's double insulated rather than needing an earth. At IP20, it's intended for dry indoor rooms only.

Being freestanding, it works well in a living room corner, beside a bed, in a dining room, or in a hallway where there's no ceiling point but you still want a decorative light. As an IP20 rated fitting, keep it in normal dry rooms rather than a bathroom or anywhere damp.
