A Tiffany Glow in Amber and Cream

The Amberley pendant reworks the classic Tiffany shade into something a little more contemporary, with an umbrella shaped 40cm shade built from fanned, feather like glass panels in amber and cream. Two downlighters sit beneath the glass, so the light washes downward and picks out the colour and texture of every panel.

Choosing Your Finish

This particular shade comes in warm amber tones fading into cream, giving it a traditional stained glass feel. The Amberley design is also produced in other colourways across the range, so if amber isn't quite the tone you're after, there's likely to be an alternative that suits your room better.

How It Works

Two E27 bulbs are needed, 60W maximum each, and these aren't supplied with the fitting. It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is to Class I standard, which means it needs a proper earth connection as part of installation. With an IP20 rating, this pendant is intended for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms or anywhere it might catch splashes.

Where It Works Best

This suits a dining room table, a living room seating area, a bedroom, or a hallway, anywhere you want a hanging light with a bit of colour and detail rather than a plain shade. Given its IP20 rating, it's best kept to these normal dry indoor rooms rather than a bathroom.

Part of the Amberley range, this pendant combines Tiffany glass with resin, iron and K9 crystal detailing, giving the shade real weight and texture in the hand as well as visually. The fanned, feather like panels are what give the shade its distinctive silhouette, catching and scattering the light differently depending on where you're stood in the room.
