Why does this need a trailing edge dimmer?
The integrated LEDs require a specific type of dimmer to work properly. Trailing edge dimmers are designed for LED circuits and will give smooth, flicker free dimming without damage to the electronics.
How bright is it really?
With 3150 lumens across 24 LEDs, this fitting produces genuine overhead light sufficient for task lighting in kitchens or bright ambient light in a large dining room. It is not a subtle accent light.
Do I ever need to change the bulbs?
No. The LEDs are integrated into the arms and are designed to last the lifetime of the fitting, so there are no bulbs to source, stock, or replace.
