Endon Twist Table Lamp - Oak Effect Resin & Zigzag25cm Cotswold Green Fabric Shade

A Twisted Oak Effect Base With A Green Zigzag Shade

The Twist table lamp pairs a barley twist stem in a warm oak effect finish with a 25cm pleated shade in Cotswold green, a soft sage green zigzag broken up with white and olive. It is a calm, natural looking lamp that brings a bit of pattern to a bedside or sideboard without shouting about it.

Oak Effect Resin And A Hand Gathered Cotswold Green Shade

The stem and the round stepped foot are moulded in resin and finished to look like pale oak, with a light grain running through the twist so it reads as timber from across the room. The resin keeps the twist sharp and the weight down, at 1.08kg for the whole lamp. A brass finish lamp holder sits on top of the stem and the natural braided cable leaves from the back of the base.

The Zigzag shade is handmade, gathered into fine pleats on a tapered frame and cut from digitally printed faux silk. The chevron print is a muted Cotswold green with white and khaki tones, and the edges are taped in a plain green band. Inside there is a plain lining so the light stays soft and even, and the pattern shows cleanly when the lamp is switched off.

How It Works

This is a plug in table lamp. It takes one E14 small screw cap LED bulb, which is not included, and it is not dimmable. You switch it on and off with an inline switch on the 1.5 metre natural braided cable. The lamp is supplied with a European two pin plug and a UK three pin adapter, so it is ready to use in a UK socket. The base comes fully assembled and the shade sits straight onto the lamp holder.

Where It Works Best

At 51.5cm high with a 25cm shade, this is a mid sized table lamp that suits a bedside cabinet, a console in the hall or the end of a sideboard. The oak effect base sits naturally with wooden furniture, and the sage green shade is gentle enough to work in a neutral bedroom or a living room with greens and creams in it. Two either side of a bed give a neat, matched look.
