Endon Twist Table Lamp - Oak Effect Resin & Leaf 25cm Herb Garden Green Fabric Shade

An Oak Effect Twisted Stem Under A Soft Green Leaf Print Shade

The Twist table lamp pairs a spiralling column in a warm oak effect finish with the 25cm Leaf shade, a pleated fabric shade covered in a small green leaf print on an off white ground. It is a gentle, countryside sort of lamp that feels at home on a dressing table, a sideboard or a bedside cabinet, and it needs very little around it to look right.

Oak Effect Resin Base With A Herb Garden Green Faux Linen Shade

The base is moulded in resin, which means the rope twist runs cleanly from the round foot to the top of the stem, and it is finished to look like pale oak with a subtle grain in the surface. An antique brass style lamp holder sits above the column and the natural braided cable leaves from the bottom of the base.

The Leaf shade is handmade from digitally printed faux linen in a colour Endon calls herb garden green, a muted sage tone that reads as soft rather than bright. The fabric is gathered into fine pleats on a tapered frame, with taped edges top and bottom and a plain inner lining, so the print stays crisp when the lamp is off and glows evenly when it is on.

How It Works

This is a plug in table lamp. It takes one E14 small screw fitting LED bulb, which is not included, and it is not dimmable. You switch it on and off with an inline switch on the 1.5 metre natural braided cable. The lamp is supplied with a European two pin plug and a UK three pin adapter, so it can be plugged into a standard UK socket without any changes. The base comes fully assembled and the shade rests on the lamp holder.

Where It Works Best

The Twist stands 51.5cm tall with the shade in place, and the shade is 25cm across, so it fits comfortably on a bedside table, a narrow console in a hallway or the end of a kitchen dresser. The green leaf lamp shade and oak effect base sit naturally alongside wood furniture, linen, sage paint and white walls. There is a matching Twist floor lamp with the same Leaf shade if you would like a taller version in the same room.

Made By Endon Lighting

Endon Lighting is a British brand with a design heritage of more than 80 years, and its UK based design team drew this version of the Twist with a traditional barley twist column but gave it a modern, light oak effect finish and a fresh green botanical print. Blending a timeless decorative shape with contemporary colour and pattern, so the lamp works in a modern interior as well as a cottage one, is how Endon tends to approach its table lighting.
