Endon Twist Table Lamp - Satin Almond White Paint & Ikat 25cm Neutral Print Fabric Shade

A Twisted Almond White Stem With A Neutral Ikat Shade

This version of the Endon Twist table lamp pairs the barley twist resin stem, painted in a satin almond white, with a 25cm pleated shade in a neutral ikat print. The print is a soft mix of blush, taupe and off white, so the whole lamp stays calm and light rather than making a statement. It is a good choice when you want the twisted column detail but need a shade that will not fight with the rest of the room.

A Resin Barley Twist Base And A Pleated Neutral Faux Silk Shade

The twisted stem is moulded in resin, which keeps the rope detail sharp from the round foot right up to the lamp holder, and the satin almond white paint has a gentle sheen rather than a gloss. The lamp holder at the top is in an antique brass finish, and the base comes fully assembled.

The shade is a handmade tapered pleat, gathered at the top ring, in a digitally printed faux silk fabric. The neutral ikat pattern is made up of soft, feathered streaks of blush and taupe on an off white ground. The top and bottom edges are taped in a matching fabric and the inside has a plain lining, so the print looks tidy from any side when the lamp is off and glows warm and even when it is on.

How It Works

The Twist is a plug in table lamp. It takes one E14 small screw fitting LED bulb, which is not included, and it is not dimmable. You switch it on and off at the inline switch on the 1.5 metre cream braided cable. It is supplied with a European two pin plug and a UK three pin adapter, so it will work in a standard UK socket. The shade rests over the lamp holder with no fixings to worry about.

Where It Works Best

At 51.5cm tall with a 25cm shade, this is a neatly sized lamp for a bedside table, a windowsill or a narrow console in a hallway. The almond white stem and neutral ikat lamp shade sit easily with oak, pale walls and linen textures, and because the colours are so soft you can use a pair either side of a bed without the room feeling busy. A matching Twist floor lamp is available if you want the same look in a corner.
