Two Lights, One Elegant Floor Lamp
The Rome floor lamp takes the classic mother and child design and gives it a modern finish. A matt black metal frame holds a generous opal glass uplighter shade that fills a room with a soft, indirect glow, while a separate adjustable reading light lets you focus a beam exactly where you need it. It is really two lamps in one, built to handle both ambient lighting and close up tasks like reading or needlework.

How It Works
Rome takes 2 x 230W R7s tungsten bulbs (117mm) for the main uplighter and a 33W G9 clear capsule bulb for the reading light, and it is compatible with LED and halogen lamps. A dual rotary dimmer switch is supplied, so you can control the uplighter and the reading light independently and set each to the level you want, as long as you fit dimmable bulbs. The lamp comes with a 1.8 metre cable for flexible positioning, and some simple assembly is required on arrival. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
