The Ortona pendant pairs a matt antique brass plate frame with five vintage white fabric shades set out in a tiered arrangement, giving it a fuller silhouette than a single shade fitting. The frame is steel and the shades are fabric, so the light that comes through has a soft, warm quality rather than a bright, exposed one.
It takes five E14 candle bulbs, which are not supplied, and is wired to Class I electrical standards. The drop can be adjusted from 50cm up to 200cm and the fitting spans 74cm across, so there is room to set the height for a high ceiling or a lower one. It weighs 3.14kg, works with dimmable bulbs if you fit them, and comes with a 2 year warranty. It would suit a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway.
