Endon Myrtle Table Lamp - Almond White & Leaf 25cm Herb Garden Green Fabric Shade

A Turned Spindle Base In Gloss White With A Green Leaf Shade

The Myrtle table lamp borrows its shape from the turned spindles of a classic staircase, with a tall, curvy column finished in high gloss almond white. On top sits a 25cm pleated Leaf shade printed in a soft herb garden green and white pattern. Together they make a gentle, country style lamp that looks at home on a bedside table or next to a sofa without shouting for attention.

Gloss Almond White Resin With A Pleated Herb Garden Green Shade

The column is moulded in resin, which lets every ring and swell of the spindle profile come through cleanly, then given a high gloss almond white finish that catches the light and reads as a creamy white rather than a cold one. A switched brass B22 lamp holder sits at the top and a white braided fabric cable runs from the foot.

The shade is handmade with gathered pleats in a tapered shape, cut from digitally printed faux linen in a herb garden green leaf design on an off white ground. The edges are taped for a neat finish and the plain inner lining spreads a warm, even light when the lamp is switched on, so the green pattern stays soft rather than fussy.

How It Works

This is a plug in table lamp. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb, which is not supplied, and it is not dimmable. The switch is built into the metal lamp holder, so you reach up under the shade to turn it on and off. The 1.5 metre white braided cable is fitted with a UK three pin plug. The base arrives assembled and the shade sits straight over the lamp holder.

Where It Works Best

At 52cm tall and 25cm across the shade, the Myrtle suits a bedside table, a console in the hall or a side table beside an armchair. The soft green and white colours work well with natural wood, linen and painted furniture, so it fits easily into a cottage style bedroom or a calm, neutral living room. For a matched look, place a pair either side of a bed or sofa.
