The Monaco floor lamp stands on a circular base with a steel frame finished in antique brass, its body twisting upward to support a frosted glass uplighter shade alongside a separate adjustable arm for reading. The interplay of the plated metalwork and the softness of the glass gives it a traditional, layered look rather than a single flat source of light.
It takes one 230W R7s tungsten bulb (117mm) for the main uplighter and one 33W G9 clear capsule for the reading lamp, neither of which is supplied. A double rotary dimmer lets you control both independently, though G9 lamps of at least 20W are needed for the reading lamp dimmer to work properly. It stands 182cm tall with a base diameter of 32.5cm, weighs 8kg, is wired to Class I electrical standards, and comes with a 2 year warranty. Its scale and warm finish suit a living room, bedroom, dining room, or hallway.
