The Higgledy takes a single 10W LED E27 GLS bulb, which isn't included, so you can choose the brightness and warmth that suits your room. It isn't dimmable, so it turns on and off at a set brightness. It's Class II rated, meaning it's double insulated and doesn't need an earth connection, so it's simply a case of plugging it in and switching it on.
