Endon Halo Tall Wall Light - Antique Brass & Leaf 16cm Herb Garden Green Fabric Shade

A Tall Brass Stem Topped With A Green Leaf Shade

The Halo Tall wall light is a slender antique brass wall light built around a long, straight stem rising from a round, stepped backplate. On top sits a 16cm pleated shade in a herb garden green leaf print on cream. The brass does the quiet, architectural work and the shade adds a bit of garden colour, which is why it suits country kitchens and city flats equally well.

Cast Brass Patina And A Hand Pleated Leaf Print Shade

The circular backplate is hand crafted from solid cast steel with a series of raised rings, then finished in a brass patina that looks softly aged rather than polished. From it, a steel stem in the same finish runs up to an authentic brass B22 lamp holder. The whole thing has the feel of an old picture light or library lamp, pared back to its simplest shape.

The shade is handmade with gathered pleats and a tapered profile, cut from digitally printed faux linen in a herb garden green leaf design. Taped edges keep the pleats neat top and bottom, and the plain inner lining means the light comes through warm and even, with the green leaves showing as a gentle pattern once the bulb is on.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes a single B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not included. It is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade arrives in its own box and sits over the lamp holder once the brass fitting is fixed to the wall, so there is a little simple self assembly.

We recommend that this fitting is installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

The Halo Tall measures 36.5cm high, 16cm wide and projects 20.5cm from the wall, so it has real presence for a single wall light without taking up much width. It works beautifully in pairs either side of a bed, a mirror or a chimney breast, and on its own it lifts a landing, a hallway or a reading corner. The green and cream shade looks lovely against white, stone and soft sage walls, and it pairs naturally with oak, painted panelling and linen.

Made By Endon Lighting

Endon Lighting is a British brand with a design heritage of more than 80 years, and the Halo Tall shows how its UK based design team likes to work. The antique brass stem and ringed backplate are timeless decorative pieces, while the printed leaf shade brings in a contemporary influence that keeps the fitting feeling fresh. It is a wall light designed for modern interiors, but one that would be just as happy in an older home.
