A Ring of Light That Makes an Entrance
The Gen pendant is built around a bold 60 centimetre ring, crafted from steel and suspended on slender wire cables so it seems to float in the room. Behind the ring sits a frosted acrylic diffuser, spreading a soft, even glow rather than a single point of light, and giving the fitting a clean, sculptural look overhead.

The steel ring is finished in a matt nickel plate, a soft, understated metallic tone that sits comfortably alongside both warm woods and cooler greys. Paired with the frosted acrylic diffuser, it reads as contemporary without feeling cold, and works equally well in a minimalist scheme or a room with more texture and colour.
How It Works
Light comes from a 43W integrated LED, producing 2700 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature, close to traditional incandescent light. The fitting hangs on an adjustable drop of between 60cm and 120cm, so it can be set to suit the height of your ceiling and the surface below. It is dimmable when twinned with a compatible trailing edge dimmer switch, and simple assembly is included, so it arrives ready to install. It is intended for indoor use only.
