The Diamond Tall wall light takes a slim brass stem, runs it straight up from a stepped diamond shaped backplate, and tops it with a 16cm Ivy shade in vintage white. It is an antique brass wall light with a quietly traditional feel, but the crisp geometry of the diamond plate and the long straight stem keep it looking current. The diamond wall back is hand crafted from solid cast steel and finished in a brass patina, which gives it the gentle, aged tone of old brass rather than a polished shine. The stem is steel in the same finish and carries an authentic brass B22 lamp holder at the top, so the metalwork looks consistent from the plate to the bulb.

The Ivy shade is handcrafted in a tapered shape from a vintage white cotton mix fabric, with a contrasting almond white taped edge top and bottom. It is a soft, warm white rather than a stark one, and when the lamp is on the fabric glows evenly and throws a warm pool of light up and down the wall.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting. It is rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not included, and it is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade is packed separately in its own box and sits over the brass lamp holder once the wall fitting is in place, so there is a little simple self assembly.
