A Cast Brass Diamond With A Soft Vintage White Shade

The Diamond Curve & Ivy wall light takes a stepped, diamond shaped backplate in antique brass, adds a slender arm with a single sweeping curve, and finishes it with a 16cm tapered shade in vintage white cotton mix fabric. It is a quiet, well made antique brass wall light that suits period homes and newer builds equally well, and the plain white shade keeps it easy to live with.

Antique Brass Patina And A Taped Edge Cotton Shade

The wall back is solid cast steel, hand crafted and finished in a brass patina that has a gentle, aged depth to it rather than a polished gleam. The curved arm is steel in the same finish and ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder, which is tucked up inside the shade once everything is fitted.

The Ivy shade is hand crafted in a vintage white cotton mix fabric with taped edges top and bottom in a contrasting almond white. That small change of tone along the rims is what stops it looking flat. Switched on, the weave of the fabric shows through with a warm, even glow. Switched off, it reads as a crisp white shade against the brass.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not supplied. It is dimmable when you fit a dimmable LED bulb and use it with a compatible dimmer switch. The shade comes in its own box and sits over the lamp holder after the wall fitting is in place, so there are two boxes to open and a little simple self assembly.
