An Antique Brass Wall Light With A Soft Ikat Shade
The Diamond Curve wall light in antique brass carries a 16cm pleated shade printed with a neutral ikat, a gently blurred pattern in blush pink, beige and off white. The diamond shaped backplate and sweeping arm give it a traditional feel, while the shade keeps the whole thing light and current. It is a small wall light with a lot of character.
Solid Cast Brass Patina And A Printed Faux Silk Shade
The stepped diamond backplate is hand crafted from solid cast steel and finished in a brass patina. The surface is slightly speckled and matt, closer to aged brass than polished gold. A slim curved steel arm sweeps out from the centre of the plate and ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder.
The shade is handmade with gathered pleats and a tapered shape. It is cut from digitally printed faux silk in a neutral ikat design, with taped edges top and bottom and a plain inner lining. Lit, the pleats glow a warm peach tone. Unlit, the pattern reads as a quiet mix of blush pink and white.
How It Works
This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting. It is rated Class I. It takes one B22 LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not included, and it is dimmable with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The wall fitting and the shade arrive in separate boxes, and the shade simply sits over the lamp holder once the bracket is fixed to the wall.

It measures 21cm high and 16cm wide and projects 25.5cm from the wall, so it is an accent light rather than the main source in a room. Use it as a bedside wall light, fit a pair either side of a mirror or fireplace, or run a few along a hallway. The ikat shade is a natural match for soft greys, warm whites and pale panelled walls, and it suits bedrooms that lean towards linen, wool and natural timber.
