A Fluted Brass Backplate And A Soft Vintage White Shade
The Dahlia Swan wall light takes its name from the two things you notice first: a round, fluted backplate cast like the petals of a dahlia, and a slender swan neck arm that rises from it in one smooth curve. Finished in antique brass and topped with a 16cm vintage white Ivy shade, it is a quietly traditional brass wall light that suits period homes and newer ones alike.
Antique Brass Patina With A Cotton Mix Ivy Shade
The backplate is hand crafted from solid cast steel, and the brass patina finish gives it a warm, aged look with darker tones settling in the grooves between the flutes. The steel arm carries the same finish and ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder.
The Ivy shade is handcrafted from a vintage white cotton mix fabric with a gentle taper and a taped edge in almond white, so there is a subtle contrasting band at the top and bottom. The weave is open enough to glow warmly when lit, and the shade reads as a clean, soft white when the light is off.
How It Works
This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not supplied, and it is dimmable when used with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade comes in its own box and sits over the lamp holder once the wall fitting is in place.
