The ring, arms and ceiling plate are steel finished in bright nickel plate, a cool silver tone with a mirror shine that picks up daylight and lamplight alike. A tall nickel collar below the ceiling plate feeds three lengths of chain down to the ring, and each of the six arms ends in a short B22 lamp holder with a knurled nickel detail. The grey braided cable runs down through the chain so it stays tidy.

The six tapered shades are hand gathered into fine pleats and cut from digitally printed faux silk in a Cotswold green zigzag on a cream ground. The top and bottom edges are taped in plain green and each shade has a plain inner lining, which keeps the pattern sharp on the outside and the light soft on the inside.

The frame and the six shades come in separate boxes, so the shades are fitted over the lamp holders once the frame is on the ceiling.
