Endon's Arabella 6 light pendant pairs a polished nickel ring chandelier with six tapered shades in a bold apricot orange zigzag print. The frame is traditional in outline, three chains meeting at a central drop above a plain circular ring, but the shades turn it into something far livelier than the usual chandelier. Polished Nickel Frame, Apricot Orange Zigzag Shades

The steel frame is finished in bright nickel plate, a clean silver tone with a high shine that reflects whatever colour is around it. Six lamp holders sit on short stems around the ring, each one capped with a small nickel collar, and the ring hangs from three lengths of decorative chain gathered into a central drop and a matching nickel ceiling plate.

Each shade is handmade, gathered into pleats and tapered towards the top, in a digitally printed faux silk fabric carrying a sharp zigzag in apricot orange on an off white ground. The edges are taped for a neat finish and the inside is lined plain, so the orange reads clearly from across the room and the pattern stays crisp when the bulbs are on.

How It Works

The Arabella is a hardwired ceiling pendant and is rated Class I. It needs six B22 bayonet LED bulbs of up to 7W each, which are not supplied. Fit dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch and the whole fitting can be dimmed. A 1.2m light grey braided cable runs through the chain, so the drop can be set anywhere between 70cm and 140cm when it is fitted. The six shades arrive separately and are fitted onto the lamp holders once the frame is in place.

Hang it over a dining table and the 65cm ring will spread light along the full length of a six seater, with the shades softening the glow so it stays comfortable through a long dinner.
