Bright Nickel Plate And Shell Bay Blue Fabric

Bright nickel is a cool, polished silver finish, closer to chrome than to brushed steel, and here it covers every part of the metalwork from the ceiling plate down to the six lamp holders. The chain splits into three to hold the ring level, and the small details, the knuckles on the arms and the joints on the drop rod, are all plated to match.

Each shade is handmade with gathered pleats and a gentle taper. The fabric is a digitally printed faux linen in a shell bay blue leaf design on an off white ground, finished with taped edges and a plain inner lining. With the bulbs on, the print softens and the shades glow a warm cream with the blue pattern showing through.

How It Works

This is a hardwired six light pendant and it is rated Class I. It takes six B22 bayonet cap LED bulbs of up to 7W each, not supplied, and it is dimmable when used with dimmable LED bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch. The 1.2m braided grey cable runs down through the chain, and the drop is set anywhere between 70cm and 140cm when the light is hung. The shades are packed separately and slip over the lamp holders once the frame is in place.
