A Scalloped Brass Backplate And A Soft Vintage White Shade
The Anvil Curve wall light pairs a solid cast backplate with a scalloped outline, a slender curved arm and a 16cm tapered Ivy shade in vintage white cotton mix fabric. The brass patina gives it the look of a fitting that has been on the wall for years, while the pale shade keeps the whole piece light and calm. It is an antique brass wall light for anyone who wants period character without heavy ornament.
Cast Steel With A Brass Patina And A Hand Finished Cotton Shade
The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast steel, with the fixing screws showing on the face as part of the look, and it is finished in an aged brass patina that varies a little from piece to piece. The steel arm sweeps out and up to an authentic brass B22 lamp holder.
The Ivy shade is handmade in a tapered shape from a vintage white cotton mix fabric with a visible weave, and both edges are taped in a contrasting almond white. Lit, it gives a warm, creamy glow. Unlit, it reads as a crisp off white against the brass.
How It Works
This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting. It is rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not included, and it is dimmable when used with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade comes in its own box and sits over the lamp holder once the wall bracket is fixed in place, so assembly takes moments.
