The Anvil Angle wall light is a compact antique brass wall light with a scalloped, four lobed backplate, a straight arm that turns a neat right angle, and a 16cm pleated shade printed with a scattered leaf motif in herb garden green on an off white ground. The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast steel with a brass patina finish, so each one carries soft tonal variation and a gently aged surface rather than a uniform polish. The steel arm is finished to match and ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder, which is visible beneath the shade and adds to the period feel.

The Leaf shade is handmade with gathered pleats and a tapered profile. The fabric is a digitally printed faux linen with a textured weave, the edges are taped in the same print and the inside is plain lined. Lit, the pleats throw a warm striped glow and the leaves show as soft silhouettes. Unlit, the green and off white print stays crisp and fresh.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting. It is rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, not supplied, and it is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting arrives as two boxes, the brass wall back and arm in one and the shade in the other. The shade sits over the lamp holder once the fitting is on the wall, so there is only a little self assembly.
