Textured Graphite and White Glaze

The base is glazed ceramic, dark graphite towards the foot and lightening into mottled grey and white where the reactive glaze has pooled and crystallised around the neck. A tapered shade in a pale grey, linen style fabric sits on top, finished with a slim polished nickel finial and gimbal fitting that picks up the cooler tones running through the glaze.

How It Works

It takes a single E27 LED bulb, which isn't supplied, and dims if you fit a dimmable one, so the same lamp can work as a proper reading light or turn down to something softer for the evening. It's wired with an inline switch on the cable, and some simple assembly, fitting the shade and finial to the base, is needed before it's ready to use.

Standing 65cm tall with a 26cm to 30cm shade, the Woolwich has the scale for a living room console or a sideboard, where its height and texture can hold their own.
