Elstead Windsor Single Wall Light - Graphite

A single flame in dark ironwork

The Windsor single wall light strips the range back to its simplest form, one candle style lamp carried on a scrolled arm below a pierced fleur backplate, with no crystal drop to catch the eye. Left in graphite, the cut out fretwork becomes the whole story, a dark silhouette that reads as ironwork rather than jewellery.

Graphite finish

This version is finished in graphite rather than the range's gold patina, giving it a flatter, more matte surface that leans into a traditional wrought look. Without the crystal drop that hangs from the gold version, the backplate's fleur cut out and the scrolled top arm carry all of the detail, better suited to a room where you want the metalwork itself to do the work rather than added sparkle.

How It Works

A single E14 lamp holder sits openly on the candle pan, so an LED candle bulb is the fitting's only light source (the bulb itself isn't included). It's wired for mains use and will dim if fitted with a dimmable bulb, letting it sit anywhere between a low background glow and a brighter reading light.

Where It Works Best

Its narrow single arm and compact backplate make it an easy fit in pairs either side of a fireplace or mirror, or spaced along a hallway or staircase wall where a run of them can be lit together. Being one of the smaller fittings in the range, it also works well in rooms too tight for a pendant or chandelier version.

Does this wall light come with a bulb? No, it takes one E14 candle style bulb which isn't included, so you can choose the LED wattage and colour temperature you prefer.

Can this wall light be dimmed? Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable E14 bulb. With a standard non dimmable bulb it will only run at full brightness.

Is there a version of this light with a crystal drop? Yes, the same Windsor wall light is also available in a gold patina finish with a faceted crystal drop hanging beneath the candle pan.
