A crown built for a proper ceiling
The Windsor 6 Light Chandelier takes the coronet shape of the range and scales it up into a genuine centrepiece, a wide banded ring pierced with cross and fleur cut outs, six scrolled arms each carrying their own candle style lamp, and faceted crystal drops hanging from the ring and from a single point beneath the basket.
Gold patina finish
The steel frame is finished in a gold patina rather than a bright polished shine, giving the metalwork a warm, slightly weathered look that lets the hanging crystal do the sparkling instead. Up close, the cross and fleur motifs worked into the band are the same detailing carried through the rest of the Windsor range.
How It Works
Six E14 lamp holders sit openly on the scrolled arms, so the chandelier reads as a feature whether it is lit or not, and LED candle bulbs are not supplied. The chain lets the drop be adjusted from around 107cm up to 258cm, giving enough range for a standard ceiling or a stairwell with real height to it. If you would rather soften the look, matching gold pleated fabric shades are sold separately (LS166) and fit straight onto the candle arms.
Where It Works Best
At over 70cm across, it needs space above and around it to work properly. A dining room or an entrance hall with a generous ceiling height is the natural home for it, somewhere it can hang as the main event rather than share the room with other lighting.
Elstead Lighting
Windsor is part of the Elstead Lighting collection. The brand takes its name from The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, where its history began, and remains led by the same Lucas family today. Does the Windsor 6 Light Chandelier come with bulbs? No. It takes six E14 candle style bulbs, and we recommend LEDs, but they are not included.
Can I adjust how low the Windsor chandelier hangs? Yes. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted from around 107cm up to 258cm, so it can suit a standard ceiling or a stairwell with more height to it.
Is the Windsor 6 Light Chandelier in gold patina dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable bulbs. A non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
Can I soften the light with shades? Yes. Matching gold pleated fabric shades (LS166) are sold separately and fit straight onto the candle arms if you would rather diffuse the light.
