A cooler finish for a large picture light

Polished nickel and a white marble effect give the Winchfield picture light a much cooler, quieter presence than its brass siblings, better suited to a monochrome frame, a modern print or a room already built around silver tones.

The curved shade and backplate carry a soft grey veined marble effect, set against polished nickel arms, end caps and fittings. It is a fitting that leans neutral rather than warm, so it will not fight for attention against the picture below it.

How it works

Four E14 lamp holders sit along the underside of the shade, spreading light evenly across the full 70.3cm width. The two arms swivel independently, so once the light is fixed to the wall you can still fine tune the angle to suit the height of the frame.

Where it works best

Use it above a large canvas, a mirror or a grouped display of frames in a living room, bedroom or hallway, wherever the wall display needs its own light rather than whatever spills over from a nearby lamp.
