Polished nickel and a white marble effect give the Winchfield picture light a much quieter, cooler presence than its brass siblings, suited to a monochrome frame, a modern print or a room already built around silver tones rather than warm metals.

The curved shade and rectangular backplate carry a soft grey veined white marble effect, set against polished nickel arms, end caps and ball finials. It is a finish that leans neutral rather than warm, so it will not compete with the picture it is lighting.

How It Works

Four E14 lamp holders run along the underside of the shade, spreading light evenly across its full 70.3cm width rather than throwing one hot spot. The two arms swivel independently at both the backplate and the shade, so once the light is fixed to the wall you can still angle it up or down to suit the height of the frame beneath it. It may need some simple assembly on arrival.

Can I angle the light once it's fixed to the wall? Yes. Both arms swivel independently at the backplate and at the shade, so you can still fine tune the angle after installation to suit the height of your frame.

Does the Winchfield picture light come with bulbs? No. It takes four E14 bulbs, LED recommended, which are not included.

Is this picture light dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable E14 bulbs. Bulbs that are not dimmable will not dim even on a dimmer circuit.

Is the Winchfield available in other finishes? Yes. The same shape is also made in aged brass with a matte black shade and in aged brass with an oak effect shade.
