Warmth over the artwork
Where a black shade reads crisp and architectural, this oak effect version of the Winchfield picture light brings something warmer into the room, closer in spirit to a timber frame than to a plain wall.
Aged brass and oak effect
The curved shade and backplate are finished to show a real timber grain, and the two swivel arms and end caps are dressed in aged brass. Grain and brass sit together comfortably rather than pulling attention in different directions.
How it works
Four E14 lamp holders run the length of the shade, throwing light evenly across the full 70.3cm span instead of leaving the edges in shadow. Because each arm swivels on its own, you can tilt the shade after fixing until the light falls exactly where you want it on the picture.

It suits a large painting, a run of framed prints, or a favourite piece of art in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway, giving the work its own light source rather than leaving it to the room's general lighting.
