A picture light that means business

The Winchfield 4 Light Large Picture Light has the relaxed, elongated profile of a mid century reading lamp, built to wash light evenly along a large canvas or a run of framed prints in one uninterrupted sweep. Two swivel arms lift the shade clear of the wall and let you angle it precisely where the light is needed.

Aged brass and matte black

The backplate and curved shade are finished in a deep matte black, while the arms, end caps and fittings are dressed in warm aged brass. The two tone combination reads as more classic library than strictly modern, equally at home against pale walls or dark panelling.

How it works

Four E14 lamp holders run along the underside of the shade, so light spreads along the full 70.3cm width rather than pooling in the middle. Each arm swivels independently, which makes it easy to correct the angle once the light is up and you can see how it falls across the artwork.

Where it works best

Look to it above a large painting or a cluster of framed photographs in a living room, hallway or staircase, anywhere a picture deserves its own light rather than borrowed light from the room.
