A lamp post scaled down to pedestal height
The Wilmslow pedestal lantern takes the same tapered lantern head as the full size lamp post and sets it on a short bell shaped stem with a stepped square plinth, so it sits close to the ground rather than towering over a path.
Cast in black
Cast aluminium, finished in black, with clear glass panels that let the bulb show through plainly rather than diffusing the light through texture.
How it works
Fit a single E27 bulb inside. The plinth base is designed to sit on top of a wall or gatepost rather than being sunk into the ground, so installation is more about fixing the plinth than digging in a post.
Where it works best
Ideal for topping a low wall, a gatepost, or either side of a driveway entrance where a full height lamp post would be too much.

It shares its lantern head with the taller Wilmslow lamp post and the head only version, so it is straightforward to mix pedestal and post height lights around the same property and keep the style consistent.
