This is the Wilmslow lantern on its own, without a post attached, for anyone who already has a post in place or is building a bespoke mounting of their own. The tapered chamber has a pitched, hipped roof with a turned finial on top and small decorative scroll brackets at each corner.

Cast in black

The chamber is cast aluminium, finished in black, and glazed with four clear glass panels rather than a textured or bevelled glass, so the bulb sits in full view rather than being diffused once lit.

How It Works

It takes a single E27 bulb, wired in through the base of the chamber, and we'd recommend an E27 LED rather than an older incandescent type. Underneath, a scrolled fitting is shaped to slot onto a matching Wilmslow post top, so the head can be lifted off and swapped without disturbing the post itself.
